Power Outages at Myler at the End of the 2025/26 Season

In the last two weeks of the 2025/26 season, Myler ski resort had to stop its lifts twice because of power outages. We went through the resort's official posts on @myler_public to lay out exactly what happened.

17-19 March

On the morning of 17 March, the resort posted: "Due to a power outage, the lifts are not running." That evening came an update — because of unstable power supply, the complex would not operate on 18 March, while partners at the Armenian power grid worked to fix the problem. On the morning of 18 March, the resort confirmed the issue was resolved and the complex would run normally again from 19 March.

23-26 March

On the morning of 23 March, the same thing happened again: the lifts stopped due to power supply problems, and the complex stayed closed all day. For the next three days in a row, 24, 25 and 26 March, the resort gave advance notice that it would be closed the following day. This overlapped with the very end of the season — 29 March turned out to be the last working day.

Whose problem it was

Both times, the resort pointed to unstable power supply from the external grid (Electric Networks of Armenia), not its own equipment. In both cases, the resort posted within about an hour of the outage starting, and kept visitors updated: evening notices ahead of each closed day and a separate confirmation once everything was back online.

What this means for you

Outages like these can't be predicted in advance — they're not weather, and not the resort's own decision. The only way to avoid a wasted trip is to check @myler_public on the day you're travelling, especially if your visit falls in the last weeks of March, when this kind of disruption happens. If you've booked a MylerGo transfer and the resort announces a closure on the day of your trip, you can cancel for free until 23:00 the night before.
